1950's Frohse Lymphatic System Anatomy Wall Chart

Super amazing vintage Frohse Lymphatic System Chart published by A.J. Nystrom & Co. during the 1950's.  The chart is a reprint of the original series of Frohse charts which were printed back in 1918.  This chart, labeled "10 - The Lymphatic System" specifically focuses on the complex system of lymphatic vessels that located throughout the human body.

The various illustrations on the chart are as follows:

  • Palatine Tonsil (Block Section)
  • Thorax
  • Thymus in Newborn
  • Thymus in Newborn (With Wedge Section Removed)
  • Abdomen
  • Spleen
  • Spleen (Schematic Section)
  • Lymph Node
  • Female Pelvis
  • Male Pelvis
  • Cells Characteristic of Lymphatic Tissue

When we came across this chart it was falling off of the original bracket it was mounted to.  In order to save the chart we removed it completely from the original bracket and attached it to a wooden dowel.  We then drilled holes into each corner of the dowel and ran a string of rope through it for hanging purposes. Should the rope not strike your fancy you can easily replace it.  The last picture will provide close ups of how the chart and rope were attached.  Bottom of chart is lined with a blue metal band to help provide stability.

Measurements (with bracket): Approximately 66.5” long x 48” wide.

Items Condition:  Great condition for its age with no stains or tears! Chart surface has some small creases and ripples here and there due to years of use. Outside of that the chart is in incredible shape! Please refer to the pictures for further details.

Shipping Fees: In the event we find that we overcharged you once the item has been shipped we will immediately refund all shipping overage charges in excess of $2.
